Lag can be fixed. Latency Cannot.

If you are experiencing lag bursts or you live close to LA and experience lag you can for the most part attribute this lag to conflicts with other software on your computer. If I experience lag I will check my Task Manager and I would say 99.9% of the time there is some sneaky program eating all of my computers resources.

Also if someone is downloading something on my connection I get huge lag, and not just in Latale. Updating all your drivers, turning off automatic updates in programs and disable things like “Run in the background” can dramatically speed up your computer. Also Spyware, adware and other malware can and will eat your computers resources whole, so dispense with them!

Latency on the other hand unfortunately cannot be solved. This means if you are trying to play Latale from the Moon it is going to take awhile for you to send data from your moon base to our servers in LA. That time delay is Latency, and this is an issue that happens with all games.

That is why when you select a server in WoW for example they will say "Select the server closed to you to avoid Latency issues."

You will experience Latency issues if you are a great distance away from the servers. I get almost no Latency issues here in Vancouver, BC, Canada where as I do get Latency issues with the Korean server.

You won’t experience bad latency in North American unless you live at the very corners of the east coast like Florida or you live in an area with poor internet access.

If you live close to the LA and you lag, then you can fix it. It will just require lots of guess work, testing and computer expertise.

How about playing on wireless? When I'm on wireless I get a 5-10 second freeze spike every 30 seconds which is annoying. I don't really have to play on wireless but it would be nice to know either way. Hopeless to even wish to play smoothly? :p

Weird. I have the same problem, but it's not only in LaTale.
So I believe this problem lies within the computer or internet service you're using.

It works perfectly fine with the ethernet cable connected, though. There's some hope for you.

If you do experience latency, even very minor latency (barely detectable), you will experience difficulties in PvP. Although this tends to depend on your class, latency has a MAJOR impact on how well you'll be able to PvP.

Just to let you know~

On my wireless at home I actually experience less lag and Latency then I do here at work. The thing is though my wireless is a very expensive wireless, the fastest that Linksys makes.

So what is this sneaky program and how do i remove it permanently?

I mean I scan my pc with malwarebytes antimalware each day and update it, but it has never identitified or found or fixed this pesky program.
