Regarding the Highlander desync issue in PvP...

I HATE IT!

I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT!

AND I WANT IT FIXED!!!!!!


I am so sick of people accusing me of using a bug I have no control of, and HINDERS me as well!

The animation desync for Highlander skills makes my character appear to be in another spot than it should after the skill animation.  This confuses people, that I understand.  But you know what?  It confuses ME too!

You think I wouldn't absolutely love to be able to use a skill, and not have to wonder where I really am on the map and have to take that extra, HINDERING second to figure it out!?

Would you like to know WHY I stay still for a moment after skilling?  Because I don't know where the hell I am on the map, and I don't want to be ACCIDENTALLY wandering into my death!  It's not to fake you out, it's so I can get my damn bearings!

I would love absolutely nothing more to KNOW where I am going to land, and then be able to COMBO into another skill fluently, and not have to guess if I'm in range for another attack or not!  it's so damn irritating I want to put my fist through my computer screen!  I can;t even compo from skill to skill accurately like I want to!

here is an example of how this glitch gets me killed, and NOT working to my advantage:

Tanuki skills spiral storm, and thinks he's on top of the other player.

Player is actually a full character length behind him

Tanuki skills in the wrong direction, and his skill animations take way too long

Tanuki is wide open, and get's KO'ed in the BACK.

Now don't you think that pisses me off to no end? is the desync issue unfair? Yes.  but does it only screw up the opponent?  NO.  Is there anything I can do about it? NO!

I try my best to just ignore the issue, constantly have to guess where I'm landing after a skill, and try my best to enjoy a fight and a game.

"But Tanu, after you skill, you just stand there, and don't sync up until you move again, that's cheap!"

Err, no, it's not, and for two reasons, one I already stated before

1) I don't move to be sure I'm not moving into the opponent's skill, and wait for it to finish so I KNOW FOR SURE I DON'T WALK INTO MY DEATH over this stupid glitch!

2) I can't chain skills properly because I have to guess too much on the range of them with my character's map location.  This is HINDERING people!


Do you people want to know just WHY I have to stack so much HP up to over 20k?  because it's that kind of bull crap that can get my killed VERY quickly in a match!  I'm not a dragoon, I can't just mindless spam skills and rely on poison anymore! I'm a HIGHLANDER, I only have 4 freaking skills, so I have to play my character VERY carefully!!

TL:DR

I'm not using the desync to cheat or be cheap.

It screws me up too.

I have no control over it.

I have to work around it just like the rest of you.

Stop accusing me or any other highlander otherwise.

Okay, you know how a Highlander uses a skill, and they appear to be in one spot, but really another, and it doesn't show until they move again?

That's because the character and the skill animation don't sync up properly


That's the desync.

THIS IS ADVERTISING (Perma banned) here to tell you that you blow bic bawl at this game stop typing essays on a game nobody plays anymore. If you don't know who I am then you should not even think about responding thinking you know anything about this game when you haven't played nearly as long enough to know who I was.

Anyway, My reasoning for calling you bad at this game is because I never met anyone in my entire life that devoted themself this much to a game that is on the verge of death enough to write an essay about it.


Me and my friend Kyung (OmgChicken) have been on msn for the past 10minutes laughing at how f***ing not very smart you sound in every essay you've read. PZ nikka. You so bad at pvp. New school < Oldschool pvpers.

I will however give you one form of critical positive advice that you should think about. Stop funding a game that nobody plays.
