nevertheless, i hope players from europe wont get an ip-block because normally we have a stable internet-connection.

im sorry, but this "Label Your Rooms" idea has been an abysmal failure. Nobody abides by these rules at all. I always step into rooms that arent labeled and find myself unable to communicate with a couple of people. And  if people cant speak or read Engish, how are they supposed to read this original post. Or better yet, why would they even bother to visit the forum. I know a few foreigners read and post, but chances are they dont rush onto Lost Saga and try to inform every foreign player they know that they have to label their rooms. Personally i think after testing this original strategy, the only ideal solution right now is to make an I.P. block.

i have nothing against any people outside of North America, but why allow those people to ruin gameplay for the people who this game was originally intended for.

What FlameTaekwondo said above is exactly what i thought. But that metaphor is less like "I don't have anything against black people" and more like "I don't realy care about black people", it's like they don't really care about foreign players so don't come talk to them or play with them like if they were playing in a separate server of their own.

IP blocking is stupid because of many reasons, be it because this game earns A LOT with astros (ever noticed the dependency of it in the game to get strong, rich, or play cool heroes?) and my guess is more than half the users aren't from North America which means a loss of more than half the profit (being said they already earn a lot); IP blocking doesn't necessarily stop the lag because one can live from 2 quarters of the server and still have lag spikes due to an unstable connection; One could still use a proxy and bypass the IP block; Lag isn't necessarily due to one living in the North Pole but because of the places your connection has to pass throught to get to the game servers, meaning you could pay for a tunneling system and achieve extremely good latencies even though you live in Asia or South America; Etc.

My suggestion is stay like this a few more months until you get a lot of money to invest in sub-servers for specific continents like Europe, Asia, South America, etc.

Mostly the problem, be it foreign languages or lag, is generalized in one having a diferent culture from you, when actually it is of people with little study (sorry the term but STUPID people) that deteriorate the game balance.

And I don't exactly support an IP block, but a latency block. Perhaps an option that you can set which restricts what games people can enter based off their latency. From what I see, I've seen many people that can speak English fine, but have horrible internet. You know who you are out there. They won't admit it either, which really sucks. Last time our entire 8 man team spent 10 minutes in sudden death chasing a lagger from one end of the map to the other only to have him teleport back to the other end and slug us all. We would swing at him over and over but he wouldn't take damage, but when he swings we all take damage and lose a piece of clothing. This just isn't fun.

May I post screen shots of players speaking French in my game room for their penalization?
