Man...Ogplanet get a beter server or something...This game is a big bundle of lag...it even lags on an over 10mb conection for me...other players lag all the time...you should show the ping so we can kick the most lagiest people out =/

yeah but ive played a few that have very few noticable lags and are very interactive and fun and now that i think about it...in the closed beta there was VERY little lag. And of course there obveously there has been changes since then, but if it started out without much lag, then im sure that it IS possible for us to have less lag like back in the closed beta |

I'm actualy not that bad o.O always manage to stay 100% + but they should add a ms or a ping geague next to the player nics...hate it when others vanish into thin air or dodge my atack when i hit them straigh in the face >.> or in the back...

It does actually. I was lagging since my little sister was hogging the internetz, and my ping was high and low, switching every round, even though it had the same result. |

This game handles lag pretty well.
Try to enhance your internet connection somehow or delete some stuff off of your computer. |

I'd say that I don't believe you, because the areas of which you can get such a service for a home user in the united states are quite small... but it'd really be beside the point. You could have a Tb connection and still lag if you have issues with latency. After you reach the required bandwidth, more bandwidth isn't going to do you any good as far as game lag goes. |

Yeah I can download and upload stuff for over 1 mb per second...but I still lag and get that slow conection thingi above my characters head -.-

The whole thing with lag is that you always have it, you always lag. Lag is a short for the term latency, even if it seems like no one is lagging and the connection seems perfect, there is a delay, but its unnoticeable to the human eye. Its when the brain can comprehend the delay that we see what we call lag.
For the most part I saw no lag in the CBT, once the OBT showed up, lag was everywhere. Most of the time lag shows up in two forms in this game: one, Unable to hit (god mode)/large delay upon hitting someone. two, slight teleportaion. I think that its because of how many users are now using the Lost Saga servers. In the CBT there was only a small group of players. (may have seemed large but it wasn't) now that there are more and more players, the server is working more and its harder to keep the connections steady. and yes a bandwidth will not help you. and lastly, British players. Because of how far away these players are, it takes a long time for our pc to send data to one another, this is why the OGPlanet servers were only meant to be used in USA and Canada. |

unless you're playing a lan game with high-end PCs, people will always suffer from lag at some point.
having the best internet connection, best CPU and GPU doesn't necessarily promise a lagless game. many factors are responsible for lag. not the best resource but a good reading for a better understanding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lag_%28online_gaming%29 |

Ok first of all this game doesn't lag so much, if you observe the rooms more closely you will see Brazilians and of course you can tell as they don't speak any english, you must understand ogp didn't keep to their us and canada boundaries this time, Hopefully the might do something about it. But here's the thing when you blame a game, for lag that is very wrong, don't blame the game blame the company. |

I agree Ogp's server is fine but they did the most stupid thing ever : Let other countries play, their server would be too weak to handle places from different areas. |
