How to fix the lag

Problem:
The game is slow in general or the animation/movement of Heroes are not smooth.

Cause and Solution:

1.       Your graphic option is set too high

>Adjust your graphic options in Option (F8). Check how your game plays with high, medium, or low setting (H/M/L).

2.       Not enough memory on your PC

>Check [Optimize Data] when launching the game, this will take care of unused files to improve the performance of the game.

3.       Dust layers within your PC affect the performance of your graphic card and CPU

>Turn off your PC and take off the outer case of your computer to clean up the interior.  Clean the dust off the fans as dirty CPU fans could cause your PC to turn off during your gameplay. If you don’t have the cleaning gears for computers use the vacuum cleaner to carefully remove the dust.

4.       Collision with certain vaccine softwares, or your PC is infected by a virus

>Certain vaccines could use up CPU to cause lag. Disable your current vaccine software and try the game to see if there’s any difference.

>Viruses and spywares could reduce the performance of your PC.  Use an up-to-date vaccine to check your PC for any virus attack.

5.       Collision with downloading softwares

>Close all the auto-starting P2P programs.  Reboot your PC then start the game again.  If a P2P file-sharing program such as Limewire or Torrent is left running you will likely experience the lag.

6.       Hard disk is not optimized

>Optimize your hard disk by following the procedure:  Start – All Programs – Accessories – System Tools – Disk Defragmenter

7.       Clash with display modes

>Close all the internet browsers.  Test between full screen mode / window mode in Option (F8).  In most cases the game tends to lag in window mode.

8.       8vs8 battles

>More players in a battle room could cause more lag.  Set your rooms to 8 players max or lower.

9.       Users from outside of North America

>Keep in mind that if you’re from countries other than US and Canada your gameplay might not be smooth due to connection problem between players.  Dev team of Lost Saga will strive to provide exclusive service to your country in the future.
