Ok, this is a bit confusing and took me since 4:30 in the morning to figure out.  Here's how I did it and how you can become a GLADIATOR!

First you go to the Valkyrie in Belos and complete hard mode (the 3rd door from the bottom).  It is long and grueling and you will die... pack a lot of Iron Wills.  Also, make sure you are in a big party and have at least one person in at all times... or you have to start all over (dead bodies count as having a person there).

Complete this then go back to the Valkyrie in Belos.  He will stop you and send you to the guy who stands on top of the Coliseum portals [Geril].  He will give you another task to kill phoenix... as well as a bunch of other hard bosses in the game.  Complete those and you are ready for the Hard Core room.

You will have 2 hidden missions, but really all you need to know is finish the fight.  Make sure there is a slot open in your Event inventory and slay the big tiger guy.  He will drop necklaces and finish off your two hidden missions and you will be able to get your ring!

I have also heard that some of the required quests are level 180+, so you may have varying results based on level criteria.

Also note that you can trade that and your monster tower ring in for a +30 all stat ring with either Monster Hunter or Gladiator FX.  If you have any questions talk to me in game~

I dislike how the minimum requirement is level 180 (or maybe 175) to get the quest.

Lol don't worry, I cleared everything twice because I didn't know about the quests at first... trial and error ftl.  By completing hard mode I mean you have to make it all the way through kill the last monster and walk through the portal.

Only level 180+ players get the quest to obtain the Gladiator Ring.

Wow, it's a lot more complex then Monster Tower. Well, I'm 156 so I guess I won't be doing this for awhile.

Okay I cleared expert with my party, I'm level 182 but Fable is not stopping me :/ anyone know what i can do about this? And I have done quest 15 to kill the wolf. Do I need to have all 15 quests done at least once?

It's possible, my inventory gets pretty stuffy T.T although i'm gonna hate myself if that's the case cause i'll probably have to do the whole thing again. I'll make sure of that next time and thanks for the reply ^^
