My wife's been watching "Soul Surfer" a bit lately.  The protagonist goes to Phuket, Thailand, to help out tsunami victims.drop
 
Something about that location and event keeps coming to mind, relating to the events of the past couple of days here at OGP. :S
 
Many people have unfairly been stripped of large sums of Astros; Astros that they earned by agreeing to and completing posted offers from SROGPlanet. D:
 
In light of "this tragic incident", I'm going to do what I can to help the SDGO Community! wink
 
With the relief provided to the Phuket, Thailand survivors in mind, I'm offering up All 1,000 Astros to the community. OO
 
You're probably wondering two things:two
  1. Is this for real? 
  2. How do I get in on this?

How do you get your share of this?
 
While I've been thinking about elements from Gundam and the tsunami, I've decided that each entrant must post in this thread an ORIGINAL picture or video featuring..... ACGUY!!!! :D
 
I don't care how you make it - actual pix of gunpla, screenshots from SDGO, drawn art, whatever!  Just PLEASE - make it original.  I don't want to do a Google image search and find your submission...no
 
I will judge all the entries.cool
 
The top two that I like will receive 300 Astros each.  That's enough for an S-rank and a sticker to help pimp out your new ride!tongue
 
The next top four that I like will each receive 100 Astros each.  You can do a lot with that - hangers, exp packs, paints, stickers, CM Coins, whatever!lol
 
There's no Customer Appreciation (CLEARLY) this month... err, I mean, there's no C.A. Event  this month.mad
 
So since there wouldn't be any benefit to me if I gifted the items, I'll send you the astros DIRECTLY to your forum account (the account that posts the picture).Pang
 
I know this will be no where close to what most people lost (I lost almost 2,000 astros myself), but it's something I can do to help salve our raw wounds.beer

but i have noticed some things: smurfmiester has 2 picture in his one,one which i believe i saw before (the acguy man)plus the acguy man and the transformer thing is different quality as if he took the acguy thing from the internet just cant find the darn picture but i saw it before im sure of it

Once again, Jawfin continues to be awesome. I'm not gonna participate for two reasons. One being my lack of artistic talent compared to what's already been posted. The second being that I didn't lose any astros and taking any offered under these conditions wouldn't be fair to those that did lose them.

Cool pic. Legs are too long. Acguys look cute because of how stubby the limbs are.

Just my opinion.

Now I'm kinda sad I didn't just put my Acguy figure on Maxter's surf board and posted that... would've saved myself couple hours lol.

Combining existing elements in an original way is okay.
 
I WILL probably lean more heavily toward completely original entries, but c'mon, I'm only giving 24 hours on this contest!  People have work and school and lives still going on.
 
The mosaic of acguy gundam pics - yeah, I've seen most of those acguy gundam pics on the net...
 
but combining them, doing a custom effects job (MS Paint has some really neat, easy to apply effects!) and adding a new, unique and original quote more than works for me!
